Slightly distracted, Di Tou thought of a few more things in his head, but ultimately put the thoughts aside for later. Although sometimes inspiration would be lost if it wasn't explored in the moment, in this case he hadn't figured out the whole problem, but simply found a route for progression. It was a nice feeling all in all!
Putting the boxes aside and having cleaned the table, Di Tou glanced over at Mu Di Bai and saw he was once again leaning back in his seat with his feet pushed up on the table, his eyes flickering open and closed as if he was on the verge of falling asleep, but was just barely resisting the urge to close his eyes and rest.
Hesitating for a moment, in the end Di Tou decided to just go for it and say, "Senior Mu, I… I had a bit of a breakthrough after my stint in the Selfless Pavilion. I think I am ready to help you close realm fractures now."
