She couldn't help herself - she had to try to save the little turtle. She leaps to her feet and sprints after the hatchling, calling out to it in a gentle voice.
She reached the hatchling just as it was about to stumble into a large rock She scooped it up gently in her hands, and carried it to the water's edge. The turtle thrashes its flippers in her hands, trying to swim away. She sets it down in the shallow water and watches as it swims off into the waves, heading for the open ocean. She felt a wave of relief and satisfaction, knowing she did the right thing.
"Do you want to keep it?" She heard Zephyr ask her and she hurriedly stood up, she shook her head. "It's beautiful, but I don't want to take it away from its home. It belongs in the sea" She said with reason and saw him nod his head, he turned to his right side, grabbed the cup of coconut drink, and offered it to her.
