She knew that persuading Blair to come along with her was challenging, and she was convinced that Zephyr's earlier words had deceived her again. Agnes was at a loss as to what to do next, except let her make her own decisions. She had the maturity to understand what was best for her, she thought. "Thank you" She gave Agnes a hug.
They continued walking, and Blair decided to ask, "Who's that man?"
"Alex. He's my husband" Agnes responded with a proud smile, however her smile soon fell when she recalled that he betrayed her earlier and she sent a glare to his way.
Blair gasped, her hands going to cover her mouth as her eyes widened in surprise,"You didn't tell me you were married" She hit the arm of her friend playfully, "How sad was it to miss the wedding"
"Hm" Agnes nodded, that day had been the most memorable day of her life, and she would always be happy to remember it.
