When Cedric came back to the palace, he went straight to the throne hall to inform his father that they had won the war and brought captives back to Ardenia. He was met with numerous shocks that made him question the reason why he was sent to the war in the first place. Was it because their father wanted Kodiak to be the king that he did it in his absence?
