Back in Ardenia, Elvira already received the letter that her loyal bodyguard sent to her. She was even sitting beside Kodiak when the bird landed by the window pane. She stood up from the bedside and walked to the window, where she collected the paper from the bird. Then the bird flew away.
Walking back to the bedside and sitting down comfortably, she pried open the letter and began to read it. A devilish smile curled on her lips as her eyes skimmed through the piece of paper. "Your dear wifey thinks she can escape me?" Elvira asked herself as she glanced at Kodiak who was bed-ridden. The poor man looked so pathetic.
"I won't give her the chance" She mumbled as she signaled to one of her servants. The one next to Vincent since the latter wasn't by her side.
