After leaving the area, William starts searching the underground tunnels, trying to find Lisa. Chris and Rebecca meet up with Forest and start looking for everyone else until they stumble upon Plant 42 and have to fight it. Jill means while she finds Edward and Kenneth getting attacked by hunters. After helping them, they run into Berry, to whom they go down an elevator, and after saying he'll guard their escape. The rest move on and are attacked by Lisa. William hears their fighting and makes his way to them. He finally sees Lisa and waits for the Stars members to escape after Berry left them behind. After they lose Lisa, William comes out and confronts her.
"Hello Lisa."
"Rahaaa."
"Guess your mind. I sent that stable right now, but don't worry, I'll help you."
"NO!.. MORE!.. TESTS!"
Ha, I knew you were still in there."
With that, William rushes Lisa, who swings her arms at him. Dodging the swing, William transforms his hands into claws and swipes down onto Lisa's pillar, freeing his bound hand after decades. Lisa, using this, starts to grab at William, who keeps using the tunnel they're in to his advantage and making her hit the walls. William then jumps and rolls behind her, swinging both claws and cutting off her iron ankle chains. Lisa, now free of her binding, was faster and kept trying to hit William. Having enough, Will transformed his hands back to normal, punched Lisa down to the floor, and ripped off the human faces Lisa had collected to see her real face. With half being almost skeleton-like, and in the other half, you can barely see a woman's face under years worth of scars.
"I see you, Lisa, behind all the torture and experiments you've gone through."
"NO!"
Lisa Lisa tries to hide her face, making William sad. Lisa tries to get away as William comes close to her, and with one trust, William stabs into Lisa's Body and injects the E-virus into her. Before he can move, Lisa hands him the keys and sends him flying back. When William gets up to go back, he sees Lisa running away, so he chases after her. When William catches up, he sees that she has run to the place she obsesses over, her mother's tomb. In there, a now-changing Lisa is fighting Jill, Edward, Kenneth, and Berry. Working together, the mange pushes off four corner stones that open the tomb and gate leading out, but with the tomb open, Lisa finally finds her mother's skeleton and picks up her skull.
"MoTHer!"
Hearing William get heartbroken and hateful of Spencer for doing this to her But then Lisa, cradling the skull, backs up and turns, and looking at the skull, leans forward and falls down to the chasm below. With the Stars members looking over the edge where Lisa fell, William enters the room before jumping down the other side and going after Lisa, never returning to the mansion.
After leaving, Jill and the others return to the courtyard and finally open the way into the laboratory, where they find all sorts of information about who was the spy on their team. After going deeper into the lab, they go down an elevator and find a knocked-out Forest and Albert pointing a gun at Chris and Rebecca. Before Jill can say anything, Albert turns to them and commands Berry to help him. With Berry pointing his gun at their backs, they can't do anything but throw their guns down.
"Why Wesker? Why do all of this for Umbrella?"
"You shouldn't worry too much, dear; I'm only doing this for my own benefit. I'm shocked so many of you survived, but with Williams solution in you all, I'm not surprised."
"Why target stars? How can you benefit from this working for Umbrella?"
"This was the order I received from Umbrella, But I'm taking this chance to betray them, and with the data from the Stars members during this incident, it will help me tremendously."
"And you, Berry, why betray us?"
"Don't blame him, Jill; I heard someone was holding his better half and two daughters."
"You bastard."
"Oh now, now Chris I'm just using what I can for my future, and this is it."
In the tube, a Tyrant becomes clear, shocking everyone, and then Wesker presses a button and releases it. But something seemingly happened, and the tyrant targets Albert, skewers him, and turns on the Stars members, with Berry opening fire on it and telling everyone to run. With Chris and Rebecca carrying Forest and getting to the elevator, Jill, Edward, and Kenneth get their guns back and start shooting the tyrant as it swipes at Berry, knocking him down. The Tyrant then turns on them and starts attacking. When it sees Rebecca and Chris returning, it stabs forward to kill Rebecca. Kenneth comes out of nowhere and pushes her out of the way, only for him to be stabbed in the chest. Angry, the rest start shooting the tyrant in the head, and with focused fire, the tyrant goes down.
Kenneth, don't worry, I'll help you."
Rebecca, stop; he's already dead."
"No."
Before they can do more to calm the situation, alarms start blaring, and on the monitor in the room, saying self-destruct is activated. The surviving Stars members rush to the helipad to signal Brad Vickers to rescue them, only for a now mutated tyrant to burst through the floor and attack them. After a fierce battle, the finale blow came from Chris holding a rocket launcher, which he used to blow up the tyrant, giving Brad the chance to land and pick everyone up, leaving the mansion behind as it explodes, destroying all of Umbrella's dirty secrets.
Rewinding a little after Stars members and the mutated tyrant left the lab, Albert Wesker wakes up fully healed after he has injected a prototype virus he got from Burkina Faso into himself. Seeing the alarms going off, Albert rushed to the computer to retrieve the Stars combat data, only for the Red Queen in the system to tell him his access had been revoked by Sergei. Angered Albert punches the screen before making his escape through the mansion and out the front door, only hindered by a few zombies and a hunter, who, with his new power, makes easy work of them. Albert then heads off to meet his new employers empty-handed.
Now After William jumps down to find Lisa, he falls to the side of an underground river and sees Lisa convulsing not far from him, still holding onto her mother's skull. Going over to her, he sees the E-virus doing its work as Lisa's skin is healing and her bones are slowly moving. Noting she won't wake up for a while, William picks her up and puts her over his shoulder and Starts navigating his way out. After a bit, William gets a radio signal and Tells Team Two to get a truck ready for transport, and after climbing out of a ravine, William meets up with Team Two, puts Lisa in the truck bed, and tells Team Two to return to base. Halfway down the mountains, they hear an explosion and a big black fireball in the sky.
