Elizabeth's POV
Tonight was the Dinner with the Greys. I was told that Thomas Grey who is Mattheo's older brother is eventually married and has kids....woahh...I really don't know anything about that family and the irony was that I was going to work with them in the future.
I wore a classy and pretty exposing dress for the dinner. I mean that's what happens when Lux dresses you up. I had no makeup on for as my bestie Tay Tay says "Natural Beauty is the best beauty"....I had no other choice.
"You look like a queen Liz....a sophisticated and posh queen...Mattheo's gonna go crazy after seeing you " Lux teased.
" Oh please....crazy is not the right word...he is gonna be whipped after he sees you..." Taylor commented wiggling her eyebrows and making *not for kids* gestures with her hands.
I mean...yeah THESE TWO are my BFFs....goshhh...
After I got ready I drove to their house and was received by none other than Mattheo Grey. He wore a classic royal tux which made him look tast- sorry, Good and hot.
"Hey Elizabeth, I see you are finally here," he said in his deep and husky voice which made me weak in the knees.
"Hi Mattheo, And I am not late...if that's what you mean.."
"No, No I know that you are not late...but I meant that- never mind, let's go inside...Everyone is waiting."
"Um.....Okay.."
We walked through the hallways to reach the lift. I was honestly feeling a bit uncomfortable as Mattheo kept glancing at me frequently. But when I looked up he turned away. I felt as if he wanted to say or do something but was restraining himself from doing so.
Finally, we reached the elevator and as soon as the doors closed, Mattheo stared at me for a second before he did something half-expected ....he freaking kissed me.
Well, A Elevator kiss was all that I was missing from life. Even though it lasted for a few seconds, I could say it was the best kiss I have ever had and as Mattheo pulled away with a smirk I realized that I had kissed him back which I did want to do but made up my mind not to as it would be too obvious that I like him then.
Before either of us could say anything, I mean before Mattheo could say anything as I was too busy processing what happened and was left speechless the elevator door opened and we saw Mattheo's younger sister standing there, she hugged me and then observed my flustered state for a moment before quirking her eyebrows at Mattheo who just shrugged and smirked. Asshole.
While Mattheo had his hand on my lower back, his sister was just staring at us as if we had grown two heads. Soon enough we were at the dining area where everyone was present and aww my heart the grandma and grandson looked so adorable while they were baking.
I saw everyone looking at me and Mattheo and that's when I realized and i had my hand on his chest and his hand was umm where it was earlier. Shoot!
But soon after everyone took their seats and I was amazed to see how well-behaved the kid was at the table. They said Thank You and Please every time and were very polite.....such kids are hard to find in this generation.
This time the dinner was Italian...Yummm !! Primi Piatti was served as the first official course followed by Pasta, Risotto, Soup, Polenta, and the Casserole. I was told that the "pastabilities" are endless when choosing what primo piatto you want to indulge in and By the time primi rolls around, you're absolutely famished. And that's what I intended to do.
We were all talking and laughing ...it felt like this was my family. I was pondering over things when Mattheo who was again sitting in front of me , leaned forward and whispered "Aren't you forgetting something intentionally ?"
I knew he was talking about my interview with him but i wanted to just be away from him after that elevator scene/kiss. I wisperred back "No , I am pretty sure I am not forgetting anything".
But he didn't looked convinced.
" Excuse me everyone , I and Ms.Kirrin have done eating so we would be getting on with our interview so see you later everyone. Enjoy the food ! " he said with a smile as he led me out of my chair and soon enough into the hallways into his study where something much more than the interview was going to happen....

The kiss finally happened ya'll !!!!! Why am I acting like I didn't write and planned the whole plot? Gosh.... never mind. Sorry for the late update but I was a bit busy with my report card and new sessions and all. I am now a SENIOR !! Danggg...
Anyways, did you like this chapter...I know this was short but the next one won't be.
