As I slash the world turns grey I turn around and run away as almost 5 seconds later the world broke and I felt a huge shockwave hot my back sending me into a nearby ditch
as I fall I feel nothing as if I wasn't affected by it at all, then I pass out

I wake up back in the Velvet Room I expect to hear one of the 3 inhabitants but then I hear clapping flood my ear
I open my eyes and quickly stand up to see "Lucifer?" I say at a loss for words confused why he is here
"correct my friend" he says with a smile a regular one ' i will never get used to normal smiles after being surrounded by Igor for this long'
shaking my head I move upward toward him to look to him face to face as I ask "so uh how exactly are you here if I didn't summon you"
Lucifer seemingly gets disappointed with this question as he says "wow you immediately think I wouldn't exist here just wow"
He says this with a smile though so I think he was messing with me as he walks away
l stand there for a few seconds confused before I shake my head and walk to Igor
Igor notices me while I walk toward him clapping "well done contractor you have unlocked your persona now you will unlock the full capabilities of the velvet room"
'I art thou, Thou art, with the awakening of a new persona you have unlocked the fool confident'
I hear a wierd chant in my ear but I shake it off focusing on Igor awaiting further explanation, he quickly turns opening a flap behind him
Through it I see the twins playing around on the beach "Caroline, Justine come here for a second"
They immediately stop and walk towards Igor as he closes the flap, a few minutes later they both come around from the left side
he focuses on me once more as his smile widens " these 2 will be vital during your trips to the velvet room, they currently can help you summon and fuse Persona "
I once again hear that word persona, I got a general gist of what it was once I summoned Lucifer.....'the mask'
as I'm realizing that mask was a persona Caroline steps up to me " currently our abilities are quite limited however as our bonds grow we also grow in power "
The Velvet room glitches for a second as I see a yellow butterfly get consumed by a giant shadow, I slip confused before everything goes back to normal as Igor smiles at me
' well that's a threat if I've ever fucking seen one '
Justine walks up to her sister near me " we're not going to make it any easier for you so good luck" she says her smile adorned on her face
coughing getting my mind out of the gutter I hear another one of those strange messages flood in my ear

waking up my eyes are slightly blurry as I see some kind of purple bird with sparks flowing down it's feathers looking from a person's shoulder
I wipe my eyes for clarity to see a 'emo?' whoever it was they seemed to immediately notice I was awake as their green eyes scale to mine

yoooo lazy author in the house after a 2 week break I'm back in action also I know there are some inconsistencies with how Fischl speaks but I've searched her lore up a bit and her age supposedly it's 16 but I've found info she could be in her twenties before traveler arrives so I'm going with her being older and wiser
sidenote I was gonna post that giant chapter just getting the entire arc over with when I realized I could just post it in smaller parts and still have the entire arc done
