Luis drove back home slowly. The sky above the city was gray and rain had begun to fall, the air thick and heavy with humidity. He tried not to think of it as humid, but he couldn't help himself from thinking that the weather matched his mood in a way.
' I wasn't expecting it to rain tonight, ' he thought, watching the dark clouds roll across the sky as he turned into the parking lot of his penthouse . Luis let his car idle for a minute, looking at the building before him then looked at his wrist watch and smirking slightly.
" Javier's house was quite far , it's already 12:00a.m. " He mumbled to himself.
'Today has been full of surprises,' he mused, unbuckling his seatbelt. With a soft click, the car locked back up and Luis got out and opened the door, stepping outside and letting the raindrops hit him as he stepped down off the pavement. As he walked toward the front door he could hear the rumble of thunder.
