Marco and the lady started walking away, while Esmeralda just stood there staring at them from behind.
"Anyone can have brown hair, but I'm curious, so I have to follow them," she muttered to herself as she walked behind the two.
After a few minutes of walking, the two came to a halt in front of a small simple coffee shop.
When the two entered, Esmeralda raised her eyebrows and mumbled, "he likes places like this."
She sighed and walked in, quickly taking the seat opposite them. She could now see the lady's face, and it was none other than Maria.
'That woman? Again?' she exclaimed, furiously staring at Maria.
"I'm glad you're back, even if it's only for a short while," Marco said with a smile.
"Ah, so you were eagerly awaiting my arrival?" Maria inquired, tilting her head in anticipation of an answer.
"Of course, I mean..." Marco mumbled and averted his gaze, his mouth covered.
