After a month, Lola and Luis' honeymoon came to a close as they returned to their home.
"Ah, I'm utterly exhausted," Lola admitted, flopping down onto the living room couch. She closed her eyes, trying to regain her breath after the long flight.
"That was indeed quite a journey," Luis concurred, taking it upon himself to prepare some tea for both of them. Handing a cup to Lola, he settled down beside her. "Thank you." She sipped the tea, finding it exceptionally soothing, and it tasted even better than usual, immediately relaxing her. Opening her eyes, she noticed her husband sharing the same sense of relief.
"Perhaps we should tackle the unpacking now, don't you think?" Lola suggested. Her vision was still a tad hazy, but she could see his fatigued expression. He offered a small smile, nodded, and then rose to head toward their bedroom. "Good idea," he called back over his shoulder. Lola chuckled softly and took another sip from her cup.
