The next morning, Lola was busy with her laptop on the bed when Luis walked out of the bathroom. His hair was still wet, and he had a towel draped around his neck, dressed in a grey shirt and black pants. "Morning," he said as he climbed onto the side of the bed, putting his right arm around Lola's waist and resting his head against her shoulder. His left hand gently caressed her cheek as he leaned in to kiss it.
"Morning," she replied with a smile, pulling back slightly. She reached up to brush some strands of his curly dark hair away from his face. It looked so soft, the way his curls fell over his forehead, inviting someone to run their fingers through them.
"What are you doing with your laptop? I thought you promised not to work during our honeymoon," he asked, kissing her neck slowly. Lola shivered as his stubble scratched her tender skin, sending goosebumps down her spine.
