Maria invited Lola over to her house at noon for lunch. . When Lola walked into Maria's house and was greeted with a warm smile, she couldn't help but return the expression.
"It has been forever since I was last here," She said as she entered. As soon as she set foot in the foyer, she felt more at ease. The air smelled of fresh lemon and peppermint, something Lola found quite nostalgic.
"Visited Luis lately ?" Maria asked as they both made their way towards the kitchen.
"The place hasn't changed much since I last visited," Lola commented, ignoring her question. "He's missing you, he might go crazy soon." Maria added.
Lola looked at her with curiosity. "What do you mean by that? Whose side are you on? "
"Well, I'm on your side of course. " Maria chuckled lightly as she took out a jug of lemonade from the fridge. After setting it aside, she grabbed two glasses before handing one to Lola.
