Abraham stepped out of the car. His shoes stepped on the dewy grass in the morning. Or maybe it was rain marks because last night Chicago was rained so heavily that several times the plane experienced tense turbulence. But thankfully he managed to land safely and held a brief meeting with some of his staff in the airport lobby until midnight. And this morning Abraham was going a little crazy because he suddenly had the idea to visit his ex-wife's house.
With hesitation Abraham walked across the path and up some steps in front of the porch. The house is quite quiet. Abraham looked at his watch and it was nine in the morning. Weekdays. It was obvious that Sharon's twins had gone to school. And George must have gone to the office. Sharon should be at her house this morning. Yeah, if he's lucky enough.
