Chapter 26 - WOKE UP LATE (TWENTY SIX)

Dinner took longer than usual. We stayed about three hours at the dining table to talk about anything. Occasionally Rose and Anna are dominating to tell their daily lives while being new students at their school. Then Uncle George would chime in with other topics that were just as fun to discuss. Today's dinner menu is beef curry with mashed potatoes. Mom made a pound cake dessert with chocolate sauce on top. Very delicious. Typical home cooked dishes by a mother. Usually my maids cooks at least three main courses and two desserts. Of course we wouldn't eat all of the food, but the maids always cooked several dishes at once in anticipation of my father's sudden change in appetite.
