" I do not care about what went wrong," she flailed her hand in front of her harshly. " What I care about is that Ying Yue is all right, she is fcking all right! And now that her sister is alerted we might not even get another chance to hurt that girl because if we do then her sister will make sure that our names are printed on the front page!"
Lu Biya was running out of time, something about Xua Ying Yue struck as ominous to her, back then when the girl mentioned ever so subtly that her excerpt might go further than the competition she took it as a joke but three months later, she was the joke.
' Did she anticipate this?' Lu Biya asked but then she shook her head in rejection. No matter how much everyone called Xua Ying Yue a genius, there was no way that girl would have planned this far right?
" Then why don't we send her away out of the city?" Just as Lu Biya was thinking about what she should do, she heard Su Meirong speak up causing her to raise her head and look at the latter who had her head bowed nervously.
" What do you mean by that?" Lu Biya questioned as she narrowed her eyes at the hesitating Su Meirong who licked her lips as she peeked at Lu Biya.
With her hands clutching the front of her skirt, Su Meirong hesitated but her actions only caused Lu Biya to get even more annoyed as the latter snapped, " What the hell do you want to say, spit it out or I will have Tang Jing knock your teeth out for a tote bag."
" I will do it for free honestly," Tang Jing smiled as she walked over to the couch, slightly glad that the storm was now heading towards Su Meirong, this idiot who did not know when to shut up.
" She is getting on my nerves these days." Tang Jing added with her head resting on the back of her clenched fist while her elbow sat on the armrest of the white couch.
"No, don't…I was just saying why don't we do something that will force that Ying Yue to leave the city?" Su Meirong suggested with a terrified look on her face, she was really scared that Lu Biya will ask Tang Jing to knock her teeth out. " My mom does the same to all the mistresses who come looking for my father."
" Woah would you look at that?" Tang Jing whistled as she clapped her hands for Su Meirong. " I thought that you were a fcking husky but turns out you are a freaking chihuahua, you are asking Sister Biya to get that girl's reputation ruined?"
" I mean… this is the only option left right?" Su Meirong swallowed and poked the tip of her tongue out a little to moisten her cracked lips. " We cannot harm her physically but if her reputation gets ruined, then …. She will leave the city on her own and stay low since we will have her photos and everything? Maybe sister Biya will be able to get her hands on the thing that she wants so much as well?"
There was a long pause before Lu Biya and Tang Jing spoke up together.
"That's a brilliant idea."
" That's impossible."
Tang Jing and Lu Biya looked at each other while Tang Jing thought that it was simply impossible for them to get Xua Ying Yue in their clutches again, Lu Biya who was desperate and feeling cornered agreed at once.
" You can't be serious," Tang Jing looked at Lu Biya, her expression a bit hesitating as she shook her head and said, " She is not of legal age, if we do this——"
" Accidents happen at any age, Tang Jing," Lu Biya spoke her eyes flickering as she looked at the electric fire. Xua Ying Yue was a mistake, one that can cause everything to ruin her. Her family business, her reputation and her life ——
She breathed out heavily as if she finally came to a decision and then said, "It's the law of nature, the fittest survive while the weak get eaten." With that, she tipped the flower vase that still had budding flowers inside it ——ones that did not bloom yet and watched it roll off the table and shatter into pieces.
Lu Biya's eyes stared at the fragments of the vase and she smiled, the curl of her lips looking evil under the glow of the fire. " May the best one wins," she whispered in a deadly cold voice.
