Agatha and Phoebe excuse themselves to use the restroom. They are also not expecting Simon and his pals to be in the bar. Clyde inquired as to how her sister knew Agatha and Phoebe. He was also taken aback by the notion that Agatha was the younger sister of her sister's best friend.
"Phoebe, Agatha, I'd like you to meet my brother, Clyde," Naomi said as Phoebe and Agatha returned from the Restroom.
''We were schoolmates, but we were unaware that he is your brother, Nami,'' Phoebe replied.
Knowing that they attended the same school made Naomi happy. When Agatha noticed Simon staring at her, she was baffled. She thinks that guy is intentionally trying to annoy her.
''Why do you keep staring at me? '' She asked Simon.
''You're so beautiful'' he murmured, winking at her.
Agatha simply rolled her eyes and turned away. Phoebe followed her to the counter. Naomi was bewildered as they turned to go. She then confronted her brother about what was going on. When Naomi finds out, she chuckles because she believes they were meant to be together. Clyde apprise Naomi to help them with Agatha.
''But Simon, promise me not to hurt her; if you do, don't dare to stand in front of me,'' she said and warned Simon.
'' Thank you Nami'' he replied
Nami approached the bar counter and informed Agatha that Simon likes her. Following what Naomi had said, she said that Simon was a nice person, which made Agatha laugh.
"Oh really? Sorry about that, you know my brother making me believe he's a nice guy," she responded.
''He's the ultimate playboy, Nami, don't you know? ''Phoebe inquired.
They decided to go home because it was getting late. As they walk to the parking lot, Phoebe receives a message from her mother. She also apologizes to Agatha for being unable to send her home due to an emergency at their home.
''It's alright, Phoebe,'' she said, but she was concerned about not being able to get a car to send her home.
Phoebe drove fast, leaving Agatha alone. While she was waiting, someone approached her.
"I can send you home if you want," Simon remarked, behind her back.
''No, I'll just wait for a cab," Agatha replied, rejecting Simon's offer.
''Don't worry, I'll just send you home,'' he said.
Agatha had no choice but to accept Simon's offer. She was taken aback when Simon opened the car door. She gets into the car and buckles her seatbelt.
'She nodded off after giving Simon their address.'
When they arrive at Agatha's house, the maid is already waiting outside the gate. Simon glanced at Agatha in the passenger seat and she was still sleeping. He carried her up to the bedroom. Agatha's parents thanked Simon for bringing her home safely.
~Next Morning~
When Agatha wakes up, she has no idea how she got into her bed. She recalls falling asleep in Simon's car the last time. She rushes downstairs to inform her parents about what happened the night before. She was taken aback when she realized Simon had carried her up to her bedroom.
'' What? Why did he act in that manner?'' Agatha paused, holding her forehead, and questioned
''He's a good guy; you should thank her, Agatha," her mother added with a smile.
While taking a shower, she can't help but think of Simon. 'Why am I thinking of him? Should I thank her? ' She pondered.
After changing her clothes, she walked downstairs to eat breakfast. Agatha informed her Dad that she will be bringing the car as she will be late for her rehearsal.
' Thankfully, Agatha arrived on time.'
'' Agatha, I heard Simon send you home last night''Phoebe mutters to her.
''Let's talk after this, just go there for a while you're so noisy'' She remarked as she turned to leave.
"Alright," Phoebe said.
As she moved onto the stage, Simon entered her mind once more. She can't quit thinking about him. She grabs Phoebe's hands as soon as the rehearsal is over.
''Remain calm; where are we going?''Phoebe inquires.
"Just follow me," Agatha said.
Phoebe had no choice but to follow her. They walk into the vacant space. She glanced to see whether anyone was nearby before locking the door.
''How come I keep thinking about him?" Agatha inquired of Phoebe,
''Wait, is that Simon, right?'' she asked Agatha.
'Agatha simply nodded and told Phoebe that Simon had carried her to bed last night.'
Agatha made Phoebe laugh uncontrollably. They continue to converse as they exit the room. Phoebe accompanied her to their home to help her prepare the items for the function tomorrow.
''Are you ready for tomorrow?''Phoebe inquires
''I'm a bit nervous'' She said in response.
"Just try your best; we're here to support you," Phoebe remarked as she clutched both of her hands.
"Thank you very much."
Following the supper, Agatha's driver drove Phoebe home. She then went inside her bedroom. Messages are sent to her by her friends and professors. However, she received an SMS from an unknown number.
Someone texted her, wishing her luck for the event tomorrow. She was caught off guard when she realized it was Simon who had texted her. Agatha is unable to conceal her affection for him.
Agatha is grateful to Simon for sending her home last night. Simon also told her that he would like to chat with her the following day. They texted each other goodnight.
~Next day~
When Agatha awakens, she walks straight to the bathroom to take a shower. The servants carried all of her necessities into the van. They go to university as soon as she finishes getting dressed.
"Now that you're here, let's get started on your makeup," the makeup artist stated as she walked into the changing area.
Everyone is prepared for the event. When it's finally set, the ladies form a line to have their names called for the introduction. The auditorium is packed with spectators. Everyone is eager to see the pageant. The host makes a brief announcement that the program will begin shortly.
Agatha's parents, Phoebe and Naomi, are thrilled to see her perform. Simon is present, as are others of his friends.
''This is the moment you've all been waiting for,'' the host said loudly.
Everyone puts out a joyous yell. The ladies exited the stage as the music began to play. When it's Agatha's chance to introduce herself, everyone cheers and claps.
Agatha performs a song during the talent segment. She astounds everyone, and the judges give her a standing ovation.
They support Agatha and are cheering her on when it is finally time to declare the winner. The host received the results in order to declare a winner.
The host said, "The Miss University 2023 is none other than...
"Who would that be?" He added,
The audience is yelling and shouting for their preferred competitors.
"Contestant number six, Agatha Woolf! "The host declared.
After hearing such remarks, Agatha can't believe she's the winner. She was crowned by the previous year's winner. Everyone was looking at her. She was the happiest person today. She saw her parents, friends, and everyone else clapping and supporting her. Her parents and friends approach the platform to congratulate her. And they documented the unforgettable moments with photographs.
Simon is approaching them, with a bouquet of flowers. He gives Agatha the bouquet while looking her in the eyes.
"Congratulations," he gushed.
"Thank you," she expressed gratitude.
Simon approaches Agatha's parents, requesting permission to court her. Agatha's heart is beating, and she is speechless after hearing her parents agree to Simon. Simon's confession also silences Phoebe and Naomi. They appear to be in a romance film.
Everyone is waiting for Agatha's reaction. She can't believe she's falling in love with this guy. Agatha's heart beats for him even though she knows he's a jerk and arrogant. He is, on the other hand, a gentleman and a good guy.
Perhaps there is nothing wrong with adoring someone and desiring to be loved by someone. Simon turned to face her and uttered the question she had been anticipating.
"May I court you?" He inquired.
"Yes," She replied, and Simon embraced her.
And they all chuckle with glee. Simon promised her that she would go to any length to have him accepted. When she heard it, she just smiled at him.
"Are you sure?" Agatha asked. "Let's see what you can do."
They decided to dine at a restaurant for dinner. She enjoyed a nice time with her family, friends, and Simon. Agatha and her companions remain in the restaurant. They wanted to celebrate Agatha's success. They all raise their glasses in celebration. This is a night Agatha will never forget. She was grateful for everything and felt blessed. After the celebration, Simon insisted on sending Agatha home.
''Thank you so much,'' Agatha said, thanking Simon for sending her home.
Simon beeps his horn as he drives away. Agatha enters their house and changed her clothes.
