Rulca Vuellra was pampering a pair of Twilight Dracaels in the beautiful garden in the eastern courtyard of the Imperial Palace when Magnius the Mighty approached her with a rider.
The pair of Sky Dragons raised their heads, looking with an unusual snort at the rider. And that was more than enough to make the rider worried.
The emperor grinned subtly as she rubbed the heads of her two dragons.
"Don't be afraid, come closer with me!" Magnius glanced at the rider and the rider gulped.
"Calm down, both of you," the emperor whispered to the dragons. "That rider is no threat to me."
"Your Majesty," Magnius bowed to the emperor, as did the rider.
"Tell me, Cousin," the emperor glanced at Magnius the Mighty over her shoulder. "What is it that you have brought a rider before me?"
