"Welcome brothers and sisters," Raemon said with a smile and arms wide open to Khalissa and her people. "Welcome and thank you for honoring my request."
"Master Ralph―sorry, I mean, Raemon," said Khalissa who immediately corrected her words. "Thank you for your warm welcome."
Raemon chuckled. He was lucky that people didn't pay much attention to that remark.
"I'm sorry," Khalissa said again as she noticed the change in the former rider's face. "I didn't―"
"No problem, don't worry about it," Raemon replied. "Come, we've prepared lunch for us together."
The atmosphere at the top of the cliff, near the low waterfall this afternoon was bustling and filled with chatter from one to another.
Although there was still a bit of awkwardness, especially between the Jabau people and the Vagus people, overall, they were quite enjoying the lunch together. What's more, the weather in the middle of the day this time felt cooler than usual.
