Today was the day when the kings and queens of the three lands returned to their respective lands. So did a large number of other nobles.

"Kings and Queens," said the Crown Prince as he bowed. "Thank you and I wish you well on your journey home."
"You are a good and decent man, Crown Prince," replied the Queen of the West. "One day you will succeed your father, and we are sure you will make the East better than it is now."
"Thank you, Queen of the West." The Crown Prince smiled and bowed again.
Meanwhile, the Crown Prince's wife seemed to dislike her husband's smile toward the Queen of the West's smile.
