Once again, Magnius the Mighty did not care about the conflict between the Northern Royal families.
"Tell me, Ra-Jeghar," he said then. "Have you received the aid of food and slaves from the Emperor?"
"I am very grateful," replied the King of the North. "On behalf of all the people of the North, please convey our gratitude to the Emperor."
"Did you distribute the aid to your people?" asked Magnius, again. "Don't get me wrong, I'm just passing on what the Emperor wants to know."
"No, I dare not. When the aid arrived, I immediately distributed it to those in need."
"Good, that's good. Honestly, Ra-Jeghar, among the Four Kingdoms, only you are the one who rules well. The other three, aah... never mind, just forget it!"
Receiving praise from Magnius which indirectly meant praise from the Emperor herself, the Northern King was delighted and proud.
