Daisy laughed softly. "Oh, Master Raemon―I mean, Raemon. Vir is not my man."
"Oh, really?" Raemon stifled his laughter. "But you guys always seem so close."
"I'm serious," Daisy replied. "We're just good friends, nothing more than that. He does like to tease me. However, you must have noticed that too, right? He does such silly things just to hide his identity."
Raemon nodded. "Yeah, that's what I believe."
"Vir and I have known each other for years," Daisy said. "He's nice and likes to help me, especially, about getting food supplies."
"I see, huh?"
"But I do believe," Daisy said, "Vir will be able to hold his own, won't harm your people. After all, Carl seems to be a calm man and can protect those who are with him."
"Yeah!" Raemon nodded. "That's also why I asked him to accompany Vir."
"Well, Master Raemon―" Daisy giggled again. "Sorry, I mean, Raemon. I'll go see what else I can do for those children."
