"Oh, Avarius," he said. "Is there something you have to tell me?"
"I was just thinking simply, my lord," Avarius replied.
Magnius chuckled. Simple, huh? He thought. Not a single Occyens in this world had simple thoughts, there was always ambition hidden behind their every demeanor.
"Just say it!"
"I'm sorry, Lord Magnius," Avarius said. "I don't know if you've realized this or not. However, I and everyone else here in the West, at least, for the most part, that I know of, we do not feel the good role of the Bestia."
"Ahh..." Magnius nodded with a faint grin on his face. "I understand, Avarius. I understand."
"My lord." Avarius bowed slightly. "We do not hate the Bestia or feel rivaled by them. However, considering that they are the main tribe of this country but make no meaningful contribution to the people, it would be tantamount to letting a fool lead a country, my lord."
