Vir didn't know why he suddenly felt so weak, then fainted. And when he regained consciousness, he found that he was bound. There were two other people with him in the same state, one man and one woman.
"What happened?" asked Vir to the two people beside him who were both kneeling.
Currently, they were on a wooden pier. On one of the islands among the Eastern Archipelago, Eastern Lands.
"Oh, my God," said the woman. "You even just realized."
"What do you mean?" Vir tried to struggle but the rope wrapped around his body was strong enough.
"We're being set up, man," the man replied. "The ship owner and his daughter are slave traders, I think."
"Goddamn, it!" Vir growled.
"Hey, you're back to your senses!" Jean approached the trio, then stopped and squatted in front of Vir. "Sorry about your condition, Vir."
Vir narrowed his eyes, his jaw twitching delicately.
