Vir tried to change his seating position. With both hands handcuffed, he was finding it a little difficult to get comfortable on the luxurious carriage trip.
"Are you okay?" Aira asked him.
But he glared at the emperor who was smiling at him.
"You're so pretty, huh?" said Vir.
"What do you want else, Vulcher man?" asked the emperor.
"Vir, my name is Vir!" replied the man. "Don't refer to my tribe as if you were denigrating those who died at your father's hands, you bastard!"
"I don't!" the emperor smiled broadly. "I was just trying to respect you. Do you know that?"
"Respect me, my ass!" retorted Vir.
"Hey!" a maid said with a sharp look in her eyes to Vir. "Watch what you say in front of Her Majesty the Emperor! After all, you have your little sister next to you, you fool!"
"Tch!" Vir snorted back at the maid. Then he turned back to the emperor. "Are you going to keep me in this state, huh?"
