Meanwhile, at the Eastern Royal Palace, the emperor's entourage was getting ready to take to the air with their respective dragons.
The King of the East and his consort, the Crown Prince and his wife, the Queen of the West, the King of the South and his consort, and the King of the North and his young consort stood on one side of the palace's forecourt to send off the emperor and her entourage.
Other important palace officials were also present there that morning.
"We will leave now," said Magnius the Mighty on the back of his Deathbeak Dracael. "I hope you have not forgotten what the Emperor said yesterday."
