Elena leaned her back against the cool marble wall of the hall and sighed. She was relieved that classes were over for the day. Her mind wandered aimlessly as she watched the other students bustling around the hall, catching up with friends or rushing to their next class. That was when she noticed two girls sitting on a bench a few feet away from her, deep in conversation. Elena watched them for a while before realizing that they were talking about Mr. Dillon, the school's strict math teacher.
One of the girls, a blonde with perfectly styled hair, was speaking highly of Mr. Dillon. "I just love how he teaches," she gushed. "He explains everything so well, and I feel like I'm actually learning something in his class."
The other girl, who had dark hair tied up in a messy bun, rolled her eyes. "You're just saying that because you always get good grades," she retorted. "I've heard from other students that he's really strict and gives out a lot of homework."
