After announcing their presence, the queen's voice came out, asking the man to come in. Daphne pushed the door open, and the man called Sir Roger walked in.
“My queen” Sir Roger greeted her, he lowered his head.
The queen came out from the inner chamber, with a smirk on her face, he found a place to land her buttocks until she acknowledged the man's presence.
“Did the king believe in your statement?” The first thing that came out of her mouth was, neglecting to greet him.
“Yes my queen, he believed everything I said to him, moreover the rumors, helped a lot,” He said.
“Hmmm, Good then” The queen muttered with a grinning expression.
“But my queen, I'm curious about something,” He asked.

“I don't seem to understand why you asked me to cover up for the king's concubine, you said you wanted her to suffer, yet I covered up for her,” He asked. He knitted his brows, confused, waiting for the answers.
