Evans pleaded with the king to allow him to carry Aurora on the horse. He informed the king that Aurora's leg must be hurting her.
Though Evans regretted ever saying it, because the king gave him a cold gaze, he had informed him because of his emotions towards her.
The king rejected the request saying Evans was to protect the king and his woman, not a murderer.
"I'm sorry my king," Evans pleaded immediately.
After a brief silence, they continued on the journey back to the palace, on the way the king saw how Aurora limped, and the quilt struck his chest.
Though Aurora is the woman he hated the most, he didn't like the way she was limping.
