Chapter 43 - ~THE DISFIGURING BOIL~

Reminiscing about those events made Kate smile. She was happy that she would no longer be alone again and that she had her most cherished people here with her. Kate was now fully awake. She slid off her blanket and got in her pair of slippers then she walked to the bathroom to brush her teeth. While she was brushing her teeth,she stared at her reflection in the mirror. That was when she came to notice her swollen eye. She brought her face closer to the mirror and looked intently at her eye.

"Oh no" she gasped. There was a big boil on her left eye and it was awful. Thank God she wasn't going anywhere today, if not, she would have been panicking as to what to do by now.

When Kate went downstairs, everyone were already awake. Her mum was noisily singing in the kitchen while preparing breakfast. Meanwhile, her dad was already dressed for work and was sitting in the parlor, busy with his tablet. Ikedi, her little brother, who was about the age of mine ran towards her.
