"Today awaits you princess, arise and shine..." her alarm kept ringing noisily.
" Ugh, I know, I know" she said sleepily as she stretched her arms and switched off the alarm. Nina almost forgot she was no longer in Paris, then she remembered the luscious dinner she had at her welcome back dinner party with her parents, and smiled. Everything was now back to normal except that she would be enrolled into a new school; just as her parents informed her in their conversation with her last night.
" Ugh, I wonder what awaits me in that school" She thought and sluggishly stood up from her bed . She walked over to the bathroom and took a shower. Her hairdresser came to style her hair. Nina had long brown hair, the length of her waist, envied by girls.
" Which style miss "? Her hair dresser asked.
" Straight" Nina replied.
Soon, her hair dresser was done with styling her hair.
" Thanks " Nina appreciated as she stood up and examined herself in the mirror.
She was putting on a short flare white gown , with red belt, and white sneakers. She picked a red bag pack to match her outfit and soon she was heading downstairs for breakfast.
Nina is a fashionista of matching colours. Whenever dressing up, she would match two colours, that was her sense of dressing.
" Toasted bread and a cup of milk, exactly as I want for breakfast " she muttered to herself and walked over to the dinning.
"Morn'n " She greeted.
" Morning honey" her parents chorused as Nina took her position at the dinning table. She ate just two slices of bread and drank her cup of milk.
" Are you done eating already"? Her dad was flabbergasted at how little she ate .
" Yeah, I am " She replied as she wiped her mouth and gulped down a glass of water.
" Hope you'll find your new school amazing" her mum said as she gave Nina a goodbye hug and a peck on her forehead. Nina grabbed her bag pack.
" Let me drop you off today " her dad said and grabbed her arm.
" Yes of course " she replied and followed him.
"Bye dear " her mum bade.
After driving for a while, her dad dropped her off at her new school.
" Bye dad."
" Bye, have a nice day " her dad finally said before the guard shut the door.
" BILTON CREST HIGH SCHOOL " She read aloud.
" What a nice name, I hope it's a nice school" she said and smiled.
She paraded to the school building like a model on a runway. As she walked, almost all eyes were on her.
" She's elegant, never seen her before " a boy said to his friends.
" It's quite implicit that she's beautiful, she's new here " one of the boys remarked.
The door automatically made way for her as she stepped into the school building.
" Your name card "? The security man inquired.
" I don't have any yet, I'm new " Nina blurted out. The security guard led her to the principal's office.
" Any problem"? The principal asked.
" This young lady over here said she is a new student " he informed. The principal looked at Nina " we're expecting a new student" , she said and searched through her file.
" Your name "?
" Nina Royale Branks " Nina answered.
" Oh , Anthony Branks' daughter. I'm sorry for wasting your time " The principal closed the file, picked up her telephone and dialed a number "..... right now " she ordered from the phone and dropped it.
