Abi was shocked to see who she had just smeared mud all over. Her lips trembled, her heartbeat accelerating, her brain fluctuating. She was dumbfounded. She didn't know what to say. No words came out of her mouth as the gorgeous man stared right at her.
Her heart was melting and she felt like they were the only two people in the world. She was immediately snapped back to reality when she heard him say "Are you okay?"
Still mesmerized, she nodded her head and stared at him dreamily.
It was only after she heard whispers and murmurs of students on the corridors did she finally actually snap back to reality. She stared at the severe damage she had caused to his white furry coat. She bit her lip and began to apologize immediately "I'm so sorry, so so sorry. Please forgive me. I'm so very sorry. Forgive me for my mistake"
"And why should I forgive you?" he said with a casual look on his face. His jet black hair was all wet and he looked even more handsome with his grey eyes staring down at her. He was tall and there was nothing really special about him except for his well chiseled face, amazing physique, and smile of an angel. Except now, he wasn't smiling.
Abi was shocked with his question. She didn't blame him because if someone did this to her, she would make them pay with every last dime. She swallowed hard, his eyes were so mysterious and she felt like a lost sailor at sea drowning in the beauty. "Look, I know you are very angry and I'm very sorry. It was a stupid mistake" She managed to say.
"Yes, I am very angry and I'm not sure if apologizing is going to cool down my temper. So you better think fast before something unlikely might happen to you." He said with the same casual look he had since the beginning. He wasn't frowning, neither was he showing any sign of anger so why was he saying all this? She couldn't understand him.
She had to think fast? Why couldn't he just forgive her? She didn't know what to say or do. She just replied with her head bent low "Do with me whatever you please if that is how I can apologize properly." He smirked and shrugged before saying "It's a pretty simple thing to do. All you have to do is stand there"
Abi looked at where he directed her to stand. Students had already began shooting the whole thing and talking amongst themselves. She took a deep breath and stood there. He looked at her with a sly smile before saying in a loud voice, enough for everyone to hear. "Hello guys, so I don't know if you can do something for me?" They all screamed "Yes!!" especially the girls who were willing to die for him.
Abi began wondering what he must be thinking, she rubbed her numb hands together and looked around. She didn't mind the fact that everyone's attention was on her, she just wanted to know what he was thinking."So here's the deal, I'll give you directions on what to do and you have to perform it before the next direction.Got it?" they all nodded, awaiting directions. Abi was also curious.
"Now I want you all to bend down"
They all bent down
"Now, get your hand full of mud"
They all did that.
"Now throw it as far as you can and aim it her"
Abi didn't realize when a hundred mud balls were thrown at her. She was all covered in mud by the time they had stopped. They didn't even spare her poor hair. She was wet, cold and sticky and she got the attention of the whole school. He turned to leave but then he stopped and said to her not even looking at her "And yes, you'll be sure to get my dry cleaning bill" and he walked away.
Where was she supposed to get that amount of money from? That coat must have cost a million dollars. She wiped the mud from her eyes and grabbed her luggage. She walked towards the girls dormitory and her plain black sneakers kept sticking to the mud in such a way that her feet became very heavy to carry. She cursed under her breath but she could nothing but sigh.
Students gave her weird looks and Abi thought they must be thinking how can someone be so stupid to smear mud on Miquel's coat. She didn't know it was Miquel Andrews or else she wouldn't have done that. But she also needs to learn to control her temper because what if that had been the principal or something? She would have been sent packing before even getting a chance to explain herself.
She was glad it was Miquel and not anyone else. This wasn't the first impression she wanted Miquel to have of her. A hooligan girl who goes around yelling at innocent drivers and throwing mud at huge popstars. It was kinda embarrassing but she deserved the punishment. She had no hard feelings and loved him every single minute more.
