Facing the overenthusiastic behaviour of the King, Rei wondered if it has anything to do with the thrilling event last night, as he seems to be hiding his negative emotions through that enthusiasm.
"Uhm... Your Majesty, it's alright, you don't really have to hide your emotion, I know you must be still quite upset about what happened yesterday... Mmm?..."
Before Rei could finish her words, the King stuffed a piece of vanilla cookie into her mouth.
"Can we just pretend that nothing happened last night?" said the King as he looked at Rei with a slightly troubled look.
Rei clumsily nodded with the cookies in her mouth.
"After this breakfast, I planned to continue the language lesson with you since we have stopped for many days due to that incident, and I am going to give you a small test so, I hope you are ready for it," said the King who suddenly sounds like a strict teacher.
And once again, Rei sheepishly nodded...
