Gifts and Abilities

--Contains spoilers, I would highly recommend only reading about characters that you already know about and only need a reminder about their powers--

[Members of the Kingdom]:

[Miwen]

His Gift is called [Gacha Kingdom Building].

Many mysteries surround this Gift, it is an outliner throughout existence with how complex it is.

While having a bunch of functions right off the gate, it also evolves and unlocks new features as the story goes on.

Some of its functions include access to a separate dimension where the user possesses a range of rights, most of them needing a resource called Kingdom Points to be used. These can be claimed daily and each claim equals the sum of all citizen's levels.

The ability to summon things using mana or tickets awarded daily based on the user's level.

Another prominent ability allows the user to share his skills, or acquire the skills of his citizens.

There's also an Events function, that may grant the user certain rewards based on his performance.

It's also possible for the user to view some information regarding his citizens, and also grant or take some rights from them through the use of a special feature.

Miwen likes to gain advantages over his adversaries before swiftly striking them down when they are cornered and uses the variety of abilities his Gift provides to reach this result.

He also takes on different jobs when fighting in groups since he extends his preferred fighting method to those around him, providing them with ideal conditions. Sometimes he takes the role of a scout, a vanguard, or a dedicated support, all of which he performs to a reasonably good degree.

[Licia]

Her Gift is called [Magic Swordswoman of the Freezing Degree]

This Gift gives the user a few starting skills related to swordsmanship, magic, and ice magic.

It also strengthens the power of the user's ice magic, as well as making it less costly than other elements. This aspect of the Gift strengthens together with the user.

Another feature of this Gift is the ability to freeze or apply freezing qualities to other things through a layer of frost. Whatever is frozen by this effect has to be at least as strong as the user to leave.

She is capable of both sword and magic even though she was self-taught. Due to her job as an adventurer, she developed a style all of her own, making her an oppressive and tricky opponent as she diversely uses her ice magic.

[Claire]

Her Gift is called [The Last Flame Knight of Abdure]

This Gift gives the user a few starting skills such as [Fire Magic], [Fire Sword Arts], [Swordsmanship], [Abdure Blessing], [Increased Firepower] and [Mana Control].

Alongside the usual level-up points that the user gains, they also receive [Sparks Of Abdure]. These sparks can only be used to strengthen skills.

Skills related to fire become cheaper to level up through sparks.

She is the definition of oppression in a fight. Her sword skills are good, but her fire magic is on another level entirely.

Capable of fighting both against one enemy or an entire army, one has to be aware of her at all times.

While she likes to charge and clear the way as she finds the thrill of a battle to be exciting, she would work just as well in the backline as artillery.

Due to the power of her magic, however, it can be hard to control it.

[Ellie]

Her Gift allows her to select and apply effects to her enemies when they are hit, the strength and duration are subjected to her [Dexterity].

There's a small chance that the effects don't apply based on her [Luck]. 

In case she doesn't select a status, a random one will be applied, and if her luck is high enough, the effect will be stronger, and the most crippling effect for that specific enemy will be applied.

Like Licia, her Gift gets stronger with her, to the point of giving her a few free points in dexterity depending on her level.

She's an incredible archer, capable of hitting moving targets from a long distance.

She applies some magic to her arrows to make them stronger and likes to use [Wind Magic] to make the trajectory of her arrows less predictable and harder to defend against.

Normally, she starts a fight by applying effects such as [Paralysis] or [Freeze] to stop her enemies in their tracks. Once successful, she then proceeds to spam her enemy with lethal effects while still keeping them in place.

She carries two daggers with her. She's not particularly good with close-quarter combat, but she uses them to create distance when needed so that she can resume her preferred strategy.

[Beatrice]

Her Gift is called [Deep Secrets Of Arcanum Omnimagic].

It allows her to learn any type of magic she desires and also boosts their strength and lowers the price for leveling them up.

It also boosts the speed of acquiring levels for her magic naturally, that is, without spending level-up points.

She's also able to see the mana aura of someone, an ability that allows her to determine a bit of the nature of others, as well as if they are close to using a spell.

While this ability can be developed by those who study magic, since she has it activated all the time thanks to her Gift, she's very good with it, allowing her to see and sense the aura of almost anything that carries a little bit of mana within.

She sucks at close-quarter combat as she's not used to moving her body too much, leading to a lack of motor skills, coordination, and technique that makes her too clumsy and sluggish to hit anything in a physical fight.

However, she shines when placed in the backline, as her control over mana is second to none, and she's able to provide strong and reliable support to others as she has a deep understanding and a high knowledge of magic and its applications, being capable of adapting her support to almost every situation.

She's also capable of using an elementless type of magic, but there is a cost.

[Anna]

Her Gift is called [Flower Walls Of Gyerundia].

There are two effects of this Gift, the first adds her base strength and base defense to each other, so, if for example, she has 18 points in strength and 12 points in defense, her status becomes:

Defense: 18 (30) (+12 from strength)

Strength: 12 (30) (+18 from defense)

When it comes to skills that increase status, they are added to the end.

Defense: 18 (32) (+12 from strength, +2 from hypothetical skill)

Strength: 12 (35) (+18 from defense, +5 from hypothetical skill)

The second effect of her Gift makes her share a fraction of her (total defense) and (total strength) with the person who takes her virginity.

[Mia]

Her Gift gives her a percentage boost to all status based on her level, so, at level 69, she gets a 69% boost.

This percentage goes down each second until it hits 0%.

To reset the timer, and so the power boost, she needs to hit an opponent... or an ally.

She has a ferocious fighting style, pursuing her enemy and using her speed and strength to keep them close and her timer always up.

She's also somewhat capable with magic, using it as reinforcement for her body and sometimes to get away from a tough situation or create an opening, though those cases tend to be rare. She's good with three elements, but most of the time only uses ice and earth to facilitate her fights.

An ability of her race allows her to beastify herself more, losing some of her reason in exchange for power, instincts, and an enhancement to her senses.

[Angelica]

She possesses two Gifts.

The first one allows her to, after consuming a part of the corpse of an opponent she has killed, obtain a small orb containing some of the power of that opponent.

This orb can contain a fraction of a single, or multiple status, a skill, or even the enemy's Gift.

However, there are two big restrictions to this effect. First, the orb will never match the total power of an opponent, meaning even if she gets their Gift, or their highest status, or even their most important skill, their power will be downgraded and then will decrease even further depending on the compatibility it has with whoever she decides to put the orb on. (Compatibility doesn't affect status points as much as skills and Gifts).

Another limitation of this Gift is that she can't give unlimited orbs to someone. The target that receives the orb can only have one for every power of ten on their level, starting from level 10 itself.

This means that to receive an orb, you need to be at least level 10 and to receive a second one, you need to be level 100. The third one requires the target to be level 1000, and so on.

She can put the orbs on herself too.

Her second Gift gives her initial levels in both [Light Magic] and [Holy Magic], and also strengthens the effects of both of them, making her a good healer.

Paired with her natural good defense due to her dragon heritage and her self-healing abilities, a result of her angelic bloodline, she makes for an excellent tank or paladin, even more so when she fully transforms into her dragon form, becoming a large target, capable of defending multiple people at once.

When she reverts to her dragon form she also gets a bit more defense and strength, as well as an increase in her senses.

She's not very good or used to fighting, be it close quarters or at a distance using magic, but she tries to not get in anyone's way and provides some support whenever necessary.

[Cassandra]

Her Gift allows her to eat other swords and bladed weapons, acquiring some of their power and effects to make herself stronger. 

She can also summon the blades she has eaten in both their weapon form, and as a spirit in humanoid form, capable of fighting for itself.

A weapon summoned in spirit form will have abilities based on the original weapon, and their skill in fighting will be dependent on their age, as well as the ability of the previous users of said weapon.

When Cassandra summons a weapon in either form, she loses the power it gives directly to her, making herself weaker.

She can bring them back at will to restore her own power, but if the spirit form or the weapon form is destroyed, she will lose the ability to summon them again, as well as the power they provide her.

Her Gift pairs very well with her mythical race of living items, allowing her to be equipped by someone when she enters any of her bladed forms, thus boosting the status and powers of whoever is using her.

She's extremely experienced in battle, and when equipped by someone whose technique and strength she recognizes, she tries to not get in their way, and tries to support them to her best ability. However, when equipped by someone weak or inexperienced, she takes control like a cursed sword, correcting their movements and mistakes during a fight.

When not in her bladed forms, she fights as a swordswoman with a high tempo, locking an opponent in battle with her while using the [Sword Magic] of her race to support herself. She also tends to summon some spirits to gain a numerical advantage in whatever situation she finds herself in.

[Alllies of the Kingdom]:

[The Travelling Merchant]

His Gift allows him to go anywhere, with no restrictions. Basically, there's no place he cannot reach.

This is a little more restrictive than it may seem, if it sounds contradictory, as having no limits is the entire point.

For example, if the Merchant doesn't know about the existence of a place, he cannot desire to go there to begin with, making it impossible.

Miwen's Gift has managed to stop him for a while, and each of the [Endless] has their own way of stopping him too, one way or another.

Aside from these very few exceptions, however, the Merchant is capable of using his Gift to travel even through time, dimensions, and Cycles.

Not much is known about his fighting style.

[Priscilla]

She's known as a magic archer, but not much is known about her fighting style or powers as most don't survive an encounter with her. Her Gift is also unknown as of this moment in the story.

Elizabeth believes her to have the most magical ability in reality. The Merchant agrees that she's a contender for the strongest if Divinity and Demonic Power are out of the table.

[Alex]

His Gift allows him both invisibility and intangibility powers, making him extremely resourceful when it comes to infiltrations.

He has also developed detection and analysis skills, making him one of Earth's best at information gathering, and when traversing the dungeon, he used to work as a scout.

In fighting, he uses his abilities to surprise the opponent and take away their attention, facilitating the job of others. He understands well his limits and doesn't overexert himself too much, focusing on creating chaos on enemy lines rather than defeating opponents by himself.

While he looks like a lazy bun, he does his job well as he always keeps his role in mind.
