The male voice was coming from somewhere nearby.
"I'm so tired of carrying this kid. Fuck, you said he's around 8 years old, right? But why is he so heavy?"
The man spoke to himself in a hushed tone. Suga would not have heard him clearly if the man hadn't been so close. It seemed he was speaking on the phone.
There was something off about what he was saying.
"You said he would arrive around 3:30, right? It's almost 4, and the car still hasn't come. I can't even count how many times I've injected that sleeping drug into the kid. It's supposed to last all day, but the little shit wakes up after just an hour! And when he wakes up, he acts like a monster—this damn kid almost strangled me to death!"
