" Answer my question," the teacher demanded, while she gulped down the lump that was beginning to form in her throat.
If only she didn't close her eyes...!
...None of this would have happened...!
She squeezed her eyes tightly shut in order to prevent the tears from forming in them.
She was scared…
But the fact that she was unable to answer the teacher's " question", was evident to everyone in the class.
Yet none of them got the idea of helping her out...
None of them had...
" I...I..." she began stammering in her own words,
'This can not be happening...!'
" I am truly apologetic!" She bowed her head.
The teacher just sighed.
" To the principal's office. Now."
Without further ado, she got up from her seat, packed her things, and went out of the door, closing it gently behind her as she continued on her way.
There,
The horrible truth about the reality...
No one really cares about you...
They either need something from you, or they need you for something they must have to fix. And once all this would be done, then, they will throw you away like garbage.
At first, it all will hurt, but then you will get used to it because your heart will go numb.
When people go numb, they no longer care about life, people, etc. They no longer care about living, because of being used so many times, they feel useless and dumb to not be able to notice the fact that they were being used.
All this might lead to depression.
And depression is not just something that can be dealt with alone. It is hard for those who suffer from it since the mental disorder is a serious problem that should/must be dealt with.
After all, that is the illness the Chie siblings suffered from...
Even to this point, they were unable to escape this hell of a life.
'If only I didn't close my eyes!'
' Ugh!'
' None of this would have happened!'
These were the only sentences that were echoing in her mind over and over again.
She was mad at herself for the hundredth time, if only she was paying attention all of this would not happen
If only----
Out of reflex, she dodged a flying chair that was about to kiss her face.
With wide eyes, she looked in the direction of where the flying chair has come from and she almost fainted at the sight.
She was a meter away from the principal's office door, however, she thanked the heavens for not being in front of the door.
Although, the flying chair did pique her interest to the point of actually wanting to look inside the office. So, without hesitating much she peeped in and saw her principal.
The principal had a pissed-off look on her face and the boy looked unbothered.
While Yoru on the other hand guessed that the principal was the one who threw the chair wanting it to hit the boy standing in front of her.
" You brat! you failed yet another time! do you have any idea how much effort it is for me to make sure you don't repeat a grade?!" The principal growled so loudly that Yoru had to cover her ears with her hands. She was screaming to the point where everyone present there swore that the whole world would hear it.
While that boy, just nonchalantly stood there, shrugging his shoulders and not even bothering to look up from his phone.
His act made the principal want to throw another chair at his face. But she knew that he would dodge it without a thought.
After all, the first chair she threw at him was dodged rather easily. And she would get a lot more frustrated than she already was.
So she just threw a pen at him, which to her delight, hit the boy's forehead.
" Ouch! why do that for!?" The boy grumbled as he massaged his forehead. While the principal just smugly smirked, proud of the act she had committed, although, it looked unprofessional and not suitable for a principal. But the fact that she didn't give a damn about it was evident.
After all, she was the principal, and no one could go against her at school.
" Deserved it."
" And you still wonder why I fail exams..?" the boy mumbled, earning a glare from the principal.
" What was that, I didn't quite hear you."
" Well, maybe it's because you are getting old?" He mocked. However, to his dismay, the principal got up from her seat and threw the chair she was sitting on. She did that act so swiftly that the grey-haired boy was almost unable to dodge it.
He ran to the side, dodging all of the chalk and pens that were directed at him. He looked at the flying " weapons" and accidentally made eye contact with Yoru, who was peeking through the doorway.
' Isn't that...'
The dark-haired one trailed off as she got a lot closer than she should have, an act that was discovered by the raging principal.
Unfortunately for the dark-haired girl.
" What are you doing here!? do you not have class?!"
' Ooh, now I'm really doomed'
She thought as she slowly revealed herself from her " hiding spot " and awkwardly stood there, with a nervous smile stretched across her lips.
" Well...I...Um..." she started stuttering in her own words, unable to form a sentence because she knew that the duo had caught her eavesdropping on them.
And she knew it would not be a good ending...
After all, eavesdropping on someone was highly restricted in this school
