That same evening, John was seated in his office sorting out some paperwork when he heard the sound of a knock on his door. "Come in.." he responded without taking his eyes off the work he was busy doing.
Hearing the response, Shane gently turned the door to open the door and walked into the room. "Good evening, sir." He greeted me with a slight bow after shutting the door closed instantly.
John instantly raised his face up to look at Shane the moment he heard his voice. There were a lot of students that had managed to catch his and several other instructors' attention. However, John considered Shane to be the one of the most intriguing ones amongst them because of his association because he was also extremely talented.
John was also focused on Shane due to the close relationship he had with Miles who was at the top of John's priority list of talents.
"What brings you to my office, Shane?" John asked with an accommodating smile plastered on his face.
