During that time, Freya and Galvin were watching the CCTV footage from all of the dorms inside Freya office.
"These kids are very talented, I think our academy made a big score with the admission this year." Galvin commented with a wide grin on his face.
However, they all lack composure. The powers they possess make them arrogant and it would only lead to their downfall." Freya sighed in a disappointment.
"Director Freya, that's how it has always been. Everyone loves to display their talents to earn recognition, only weakling would cower at the back like cowards. In my opinion with this kid of prowess I can see students with the potential to become S-rank psykers in the future."
Galvin was totally focused on the screen as he was enjoying the brutality he was watching. As a result he didn't see Freya shaking her head in disappointment. "You're wrong, the strongest person is the most quiet person in the room."
Galvin was suddenly intrigued by what Freya said, so he diverted his attention back to her. "What do you mean, director?"
Freya took a sip from the glass of water she had been holding all this while before responding.
"Didn't you feel it, the anonymous aura that opposed yours when you were showing off in front of all the students?"
Galvin's eyes widened in surprise. "But I thought...I thought that was you, Director."
Freya chuckled lightly. "Nope, that wasn't me at all. That aura came from among the students and I was expecting that particular student to showoff himself but I haven't seen anything impressive even since I started watching this child play."
"I decided to watch the footage today in order to see just how skillful that student was, but it seems like he is way more mature than I had expected. Perhaps, maybe you're right about this year's admission."
"Galvin" Freya called. "I hope you now understand that there's someone that can rival you among the students or maybe even crush you." Freya crushed the ice that was put in the water with her teeth to emphasize her statement after gulping down the rest of the water in the cup.
"Don't you think we need to inform the higher authorities?" Galvin became very concerned about this situation.
"No we don't. A spy would be very careful not to blow their cover on trival issues. Regardless of who it was, he or she just wanted to be a regular student. The only problem is that if your so-called top tier students don't learn how to be humble, then they are going to get both you and themselves in a big mess. So better get them all in line."
Freya stood up from her seat. She walked towards the coat rack and wore her jacket.
"What about you Director? Where are you heading?" Galvin asked as he watched Freya step into a pod that would instantly transport her to her car parked in the garage.
"I will be back soon, take care of the academy." Freya waved and left without answering Galvin's questions.
"Damn it, she always does that whenever there's trouble." Galvin silently complained.

After the ruckus Mattew created in the dorm, no student was able to defy his authority. Every student in the dorm agreed that he was now the dorm leader.
As soon as Matthew established his position, he immediately kicked out his roommate and claimed the entire room for himself. There were already many leechers trying to suck up to him in order to gain his favour and also obtain a high rank within the dorm.
Miles wasn't even bothered by all the drama that was currently taking place. He just returned to the room to finish unpacking his luggage as he had already lost interest in that topic.
This was the way of the world and it was what academy officials had expected to happen. Ranking was the most influential factor for a student in any academy because it would determine your career endeavors outside the academy when you graduate.
It was a priority within the academy because the higher your rank the more benefits you receive. While not many students were aware of this fact yet, Galvin had told them they would soon discover it.
The reason why this information was held back from the students was because they wanted to see the amount of students that were quick-witted to maintain a significant position just like what Matthew had done and see how long they would be able to maintain their position when other students start aiming at them in order to stand at the top.
Miles didn't accept Matthew's challenge when he called everyone out because of this reason. Since Matthew would become a shooting target when the rest of the students focused their attention on his position, Miles didn't need to be in a hurry.
Shane was right when he told Brian the real reason why nobody wanted to fight Mathew wasn't because they were afraid. Instead, they were scared of his family background which was ordinary.
The Reynolds is an elite clan in California, one psychic clan that obtained the ability of laser rays manipulation and Matthew Reynolds is the most talented third generation heir of this clan. There absolutely nobody that wants to become an enemy of this clan.
However, when the students learns that they can challenge the high rankers like the dorm leaders without having to obtain their position without having to fear about the consequences from their clans, then it will only depend on Matthew ability to remain at the top.
Shane was still pissed off about Brian's attitude earlier but he didn't make any fuss about it and just lay on his bed quietly. Meanwhile, Brian was also busy unpacking the rest of his luggage.
Miles decided to take a shower after he finished unpacking his stuff. While he was dressing up Shane threw a question at him which surprised Miles.
"Why did you travel all the way from Paris to come to study at an academy located in America?"
"How did you figure out that I'm not from America?" Miles responded with a question of his own.
"The hoodie on your bed." Brian glanced at the black hoodie Miles was planning to wear.
Likewise, Miles turned his gaze to his bed to look at his hoodie, but he was still confused. "What about the hoodie?" he asked.
"Obviously, you didn't buy that and the rest of your outfit yourself. That hoodie was made in Paris and it's a limited edition with only two pieces that can only be found in Paris. It's still not out for sale yet and you already have one, If you didn't know that before, then you obviously don't know that all your clothes are from the same brand and they're all expensive." Brain explained.
"Well, how did you know?" Miles asked again.
"You don't have a simple identity, do you Miles? I mean every kid our age wants to own an outfit from that brand you're casually wearing and you don't even know. It's an outfit made by Castle Inc in Paris, the top advanced technology enterprise in all of France and among the top five in the world." Shane rubbed his head in frustration and sighed in disappointment at how clueless Miles was about the treasure he was wearing.
"Dude, that hoodie is the skin of a B-rank mountain bear and it can withstand any D-rank psyker attack. Plus, it increases your stamina by ten percent and your toughness by twenty percent. This isn't just a hoodie, it is an armor that can boost a psyker's abilities."
Meanwhile, as both Shane and Brian were giving descriptions of the hoodie Miles was silently cursing Mike in his head. He had instructed Mike to get hims couple of casual and combat compatible outfit fo him to wear at the academy. However, the fool obviously picked the highest grade clothes.
When I asked him to get me some clothes, what part of casual did he miss?" Miles grumbled as he thought to himself.
As for how he got this limited edition hoodie, it wasn't too complicated for Miles to figure out because Castle Inc was Miles' adopted parents' company. Therefore, Mike had easy access to the latest technologies the company had to offer especially since it was for Miles' personal use.
However, Miles wasn't planning on disclosing that to anyone yet including both of his roommates since he barely knew them yet.
"So, do you mind telling us how you got these clothes?" Shane and Brian became curious.
"My uncle usually gets them for me. He works as an executive in the company. So he is able to get me clothes that are made by the company." Miles lied.
"Damn, you're lucky. I wish I had an uncle like that but are you sure it's still okay to wear them like this?"
Shane couldn't help but ask when he saw Miles wearing the hood after all both him and Brian said about how valuable the hoodie was.
"All the more reason he should wear it. It's going to make everyone jealous especially that bastard. I'd like to see the look on that egoistic Matthew's face when he finally realizes that he isn't the only rich kid in this dorm." Brian commented with a smirk.
"You're not going to just let it pass like that, are you? Shane chuckled after hearing Brian's remarks.
"I already made a resolve not to start a fight with him unless he does something to piss me off directly first."
Miles smiled as he watched the two banter with each other. They were refusing to speak to each other a few minutes ago, now just because of a hoodie they started to joke with each other.
"It is funny how people fight and make up over little things but it is the loyalty of friendship that matters the most." Miles thought. He envied them both because this was something he had yet to experience even though he had a lot of people around him.
