"How many times do I have to say it! He was surprised!

"Well, I don't wanna play synonym games anymore so let's just say he was surprised. You win."
There was no point in arguing with someone that knows more about the game and rules of a pointless argument anyway.
Surprised, shocked. It didn't matter anyway.

She was smirking just like she does when she wins against me in anything.
"Now gimme my wish-."

I knew she was gonna say that. There was no way she wouldn't ask for a wish after pointlessly wasting so much energy over such a trivial matter.
