There are three very important things one needs for a battle, or a war like this one.
"So, we are going to fight for the crown prince?"
"Not exactly for him, but yes. You are going to fight from his side. Though, you'll have to make sure you aren't risking your lives.
This task isn't as important as your life."
One needed a great capital for a large scale battle like this one.
One needed weapons and individuals to fight in this battle.
There weren't that many skilled individuals in this world if we saw it statistically, so one needed the strength of numbers as well as strength of highly skilled individuals that could deal with the people on the same level as the members of our little group.
"Ah~! I see! So it's like mercenary work~! We will get something for helping the crown prince's side."
