But Lily didn't want her daughter to wait a lifetime for one measly reunion.
"Ah dear, your parents really are pitiful, I tried to work something out with them and they didn't even answer me... I had to bother you."
Irina denied it, she felt guilty for the whole situation. But she could barely handle herself, how could she decide Emil and Bella's fate so easily?!
It was also true to understand and accept the sad reality that her parents would not help her decide anything about this matter.
They didn't care.
Irina was supposed to handle everything herself.
"It's not a bother, I really believe we should take this seriously and I'll take care of everything..."
Lily nodded, finally feeling some reassurance towards this girl.
Why do you look like a scared child? Am I intimidating you?!
She lightly glanced at the table and there were empty seats in addition to the incredible scenery.
It really shouldn't be a problem if everyone sat at the same table, right?!
It would be good for Irina to know a little more about Bella, thought Lily. "Well, let's talk about this later, we came for tea... How about we join you?"
Bella listened to that with disbelief.

"Mother!"
Lily feigned innocence, she didn't care, it was just tea. What's the problem?
"What dear? I'm sure Irina would want to get to know you better and find out how you're doing now in this new phase... Right?"
Irina knew this wasn't a situation where she could deny it, she glanced at Amany lightly.
Amany through all that strange situation kept her smiling and beautiful.
The kind look was what made her regain some of her sanity.
She was very nervous, but it didn't matter, Amany was with her.
Anything screams and Amany must help it.
Irina after assuring Amany was ok with that, agreed with Lily.
I must face this situation.
How can I take care of Emil or his son when I can barely talk to those two women?
It was true that she was about to collapse, but she would go through with it.
She softly pointed to the empty chairs.
Lily grinned, but then she turned to Amany.
"Yes, of course... Please join the two of us."
How can she be so rude? Talking with Irina made her lose the sense that there were more people at the table.
In a brief attempt to recant she solicited the other woman's opinion.
Well, it was an embarrassing complaining move, and she regretted being so impulsive.
"What about you, miss? Don't you mind?"
Amany didn't have time to deny or say anything, Irina quickly laced her fingers with hers and spoke. "She's Amany... My girlfriend, so it's not a problem... Please sit down and let's eat something delicious together."
Girlfriend... Girlfriends... Her and Irina... Dating.
Amany looked towards Irina, her gaze serene and her smile full of affection.
Was she serious?
Well, that didn't seem like a lie.
Amany didn't know what to think and not far from her was Bella just as impacted.
But for different reasons.
Girlfriend? What the hell... How can you have a girlfriend like that overnight?
Lily who knew about Bella's situation glanced briefly at her daughter.
She thought briefly how pitiful it was to see her daughter have so much bad luck with a family.
The person you love so much is with someone else, what should you do now?!
Amany snapped out of her stunned moment to see Bella and Lily standing in front of her waiting for some sort of positioning.
She was shocked for thinking too much.
They simply feel, after all... Now I'm dating.
"Y-Yes, we're dating... Don't worry, if you're Irina's friend, you're my friend too."
Friend... Bella clenched her fist in complete dissatisfaction, she wanted desperately to get out of there, but Lily didn't seem to think the same way.
Lily wanted to somehow resolve her daughter's pregnancy situation and due to her history of neglect, she didn't want to be forced to wait even longer.
Bella, forgive me, but I can't be careless like that.
When the two women finally joined Irina and Amany, a waiter appeared almost running to take the new orders.
Bella ordered her tea and sandwich almost silently.
Lily didn't take long to ask either, but she was more interested in the few pending items with Irina.
"I'm glad to know we're all intimate, so it shouldn't be a problem to ask something in front of her, right?"
Irina wanted to deny it... Just don't talk about it!
But how could she?
She hadn't had time to expose herself to Amany, they shared only the pretty things.
The difficult and complicated ones had no room amidst the sweetness they had.
But how to get away from that kind of thing?!
Irina felt exposed and she really was.
She was in many ways brutal and annoying, even Bella was getting really complicated about it all.
But Irina who had no power to deny certain things nodded obediently ready to be slaughtered. "Right."
Lily smiled and nodded, but her words were laced with venom.
She was very angry. "I heard that Emil is in a clinic, when did you intend to mention this to me or my husband?"
Irina heard that and felt her ground disappear.

Emil should be safe and protected!
Bella noticing that immediately intervened. "Mom, I know you're angry, but you're going too far... Stop it..."
The woman looked at her daughter full of complicated feelings.
Do you like her so much even when you're in front of her girlfriend? How can you still defend her?!
"I..."
Amany who was also watching everything would not accept being quiet.
She was very polite and elegant, carried herself in a smooth manner and never once seemed really interested in arguing with Lily.
Well, even if I'm arguing I must give the impression that I'm not, it's more peaceful that way.
"I believe that family matters should not be discussed so casually, besides... As far as I know, only family members should know confidential information like the whereabouts of a patient... I really believe you would be concerned if anyone asked about Bella's pregnancy."
Irina looked at Amany in complete disbelief.

Heavens, it was complete chaos.
Not only was Irina surprised, so were Lily and Bella.
Everyone believed that it was a big secret.
Never actually leaked or heard about the emergence of such a rumor.
How did she know?
"How did you know about that?"
Amany sipped her tea, looked towards Lily and smiled. "People comment... There is a rumor that she took pregnancy tests in a laboratory, she is the most talked about subject among some people at the awards... It's really worrying how exposed we are to anyone's opinion... Right, Miss Lily?!"
Amany also had poison and for a few moments Bella lost the feeling of frustration and a small happiness emerged.
It was good to see someone defending Irina like that.
If I can't handle my mom, I'm glad someone else can.
A completely bewildered Lily just smiled and thanked the gods for the waiter finally appearing with her tea.
She needed to occupy herself with something other than talking. "Yes..."
Bella and Lily took a few sips of their drinks.
The lemon tea was flavorful and sweet, it was really passable and didn't make her feel sick.
The relief of having something to drink or eat without thinking that I would die from vomiting was a huge relief.
Irina watched that brief, silent scene and sighed.
The situation almost got completely out of hand, she needed to talk to Lily and clarify everything that was within her reach.
"Waiter!"
Irina called the waiter who didn't take much more than half a second to appear.
Irina wanted to go to a private place, but that wasn't possible in that teahouse.
There were no cabins or private rooms.
The most she could get was a table a little further away, but it was enough for the moment.
"Yes?"
"Is the separate table for Mrs. Opsahl still available?"
