Outside the house was the cluster of security guards and Dominica, filled with worry and fear.
For them it was completely unpredictable what Emil might do and defending Irina was the only possible option.
Dominica kept banging on the door and calling for Emil and Irina, which only made things worse for him.
Emil did not hide his disquiet and disquiet, he was feeling more and more nervous.
That was leaving his mind in complete chaos, with a trembling voice he asked. "... Tell her to shut up, it's making me nervous."
Irina nodded and pointed to the couch in the middle of the room, the house was a huge mess.
Cans and bottles strewn all over the floor, not to mention countless food packages.
Well, she didn't even want to find out what certain lost things were that she could see out of the corner of her eye.
Simply ignore.
Well, sometimes ignorance really was bliss.
It was even embarrassing to see and enter that place that looked like a pile of garbage, but she wouldn't touch that topic, she just wanted him to feel safe with her. "Okay, have a seat..."
Irina gently opened the door and left the house for a few moments only to ask Dominica to remain silent.
She couldn't just put that visit to waste, just don't scare Emil.
Irina didn't know when she would get up the courage to do that kind of thing again, she had been at her emotional limit for quite some time now.
So nothing there could be in vain.
That meeting must have the simple purpose of making him think a little without feeling coerced. Come home to being the best for you.
"It's okay, don't do anything… I'll shout your name if something's going on… But stay quiet."
Just as Irina left the house, she entered.
She didn't have time to dwell on how dangerous it would be to be alone with Emil and all Dominica could do was reassure herself with her boss's few words and wait for some sign.
Emil finally saw his sister returning and finally noticed that along with her was a small bag.
They were chocolates of the brand he liked the most and curiously they weren't national, so he needed some effort to get it.
"I bought your favorite chocolates, hope you still like them..."
Irina shyly handed the package to Emil and sat down next to him.
He took the chocolates and set them aside.
He looked at Irina and spoke a little complicated. "What are you really doing here?"
Irina smiled, he really was different, he didn't show any good reaction with those chocolates.
She sighed a little tiredly. "I heard some things about you, I'd like to know what's going on..."
Emil hurriedly got to his feet and edged lightly against the wall as if using it as protection for something. "Are you with them?"
Irina didn't know exactly what to say, she didn't know what he was referring to, but listening to him speak she soon had a few glimpses of the information Dominica had gathered in her mind.
Emil was often seen talking to himself and in many ways appeared to be delusional amidst fits of rage.
He seemed to be using chemical substances whether they were illegal or not.
It was very difficult to differentiate between his sober and numb state, he was more and more lost within himself.
Irina feigned concern and rose slightly to mimic her brother's attitude.
Pretend to think like him so he takes you seriously and can somehow cooperate. "They who? No, I don't know what you're talking about."
Emil in a protective act bent down and next to him pulled his sister.
That was kind of cute and reminded Irina of the old Emil who even younger still tried to protect her.
Sister! Don't meet so many girls, they don't care about your feelings. Sister, you are working too hard, take time to rest. Sister, I miss you, come home and let's have fun together.... Sister... Sister... Yes, Irina now missed Emil calling her every half second.
He whispered afraid of being overheard. "They want to kill us… Irina, everything they told us to do! They... They want to kill us... I couldn't stand hearing that voice in my head anymore... Irina, please hide..."
He was desperate, really desperate, and it only made Irina even more anxious.
She wanted to be able to take care of him and especially protect him. "Do you think it's dangerous?"
He nodded fervently.
Of course, for him all that was extremely dangerous, he lived his days hidden in fear that people could find him and finally eliminate him.
He wanted to live!
"Yes! They're following me! I can see it and everything has gotten worse in the last few days... I'm getting more desperate."
Irina nodded, she now felt pitiful.
After all, much of that sense of persecution must have started after she asked them to watch Emil's steps.
Heavens, what should I do to resolve this?! But she couldn't just assume what she did to him would only make the whole situation worse.
She lightly touched her brother's face.
The stubble, the darkened eyes.
You are no longer the little Emil I've been with all my life. But you're not the man you're supposed to be either, what's up?! What went wrong?!
How can you just become someone else?! How did I allow this to happen so easily?!
Her heart was heavy, lost in guilt. "Who do you Think You Are?"
Emil cringed and sighed, he felt terrified at thoughts of her. "These Envoys, they want to use us and then discard us... I don't want to die... I don't want... I'm so scared.."
Irina was briefly pensive, she wanted to propose that he come home, but he was very firm about not coming back.
But she should try. "You know our house is safe."
Emil denied it, he was moving fervently, he definitely wasn't coming home. "No! They are over there! I don't want!"
Irina had already prepared for a number of possibilities and one of them involved Emil refusing to come home.
She and her family came to an agreement: the first option was that Emil would be taken directly to the big house.
The second option is for him to be referred to a support clinic where he could get emotional and psychiatric support in addition to support for any type of chemical addiction.
The first option didn't seem viable and Irina had to look for a way to get Emil to the clinic without too much difficulty.
She didn't want to just drag her brother by force, that wasn't how they solved her problems.
Honestly, she just hadn't been taken by force until now because of Irina's insistence on trying to do everything peacefully.
No one would drag their brother around like an animal.
"I see… This is a problem… Do you want me to try to find you somewhere safe?"
Well, Irina was really a great actress, it was enviable that even without much effort she managed to convince anyone that she was serious about what she was talking about.
"You can?"
Irina nodded and walked over to Emil to whisper in his ear.
