I stood before the leaf-shaped mirror, my dull eyes on my reflection, and the maids working on my white slender gown, walking around me as they made sure I was perfect, perfect for a Union ceremony, a union that would forever bind me to Aldon.
Everything just seems to work slowly in my peripheral vision, everything was just slow, why my existence was lost to the world and all I just had was my mind only. I didn't feel as if the maids worked on my hair or when I even wore my gown or when they bathed me, I was nonexistent to what was happening to me. Maybe if the world burned I wouldn't feel it.
