William called this door that… I turned to him but his attention was fixated on the door and then he closed his eyes. I opened my mouth to speak but the sudden sound of a heartbeat caught me off guard.
Yes, a heartbeat louder than anything I have ever heard echoed around, and then it struck me because of its slow beat. There was only one person with such a slow heartbeat.

The dark giant door senses the beating heartbeat of William as its arbiter and master of this place, unlocked, the mere sound echoing in the entire area.
The large design just at the center of it, like a keyhole, moved, the spirals and circles shifting and giving way, responding solely to the sound, and then a dividing came and the doors spread open with a loud sound.
The key was not a key… but the key was William's heartbeat. I gulped at the realization. William is the heart of this place and responds only to him.
