After returning to their space cruiser, Rei said, "Alice, can you turn Terra's core into a card? You fainted after evolving her, so we don't know if it's possible."
Alice remembered something and quickly nodded, "I also got a name. Let me recite it to see if it turns Terra into a card."
"Neo Artificial Intelligence, Terrana."
When Alice finished speaking, Terra's projectile vanished, and her core disappeared from the ship.
However, a card appeared in Alice's hand with Terrana's life-like image and a floating orb around her.
——
Name: Neo-AI Terrana
-> Power: Possesses all capabilities of Neo-class Artificial Intelligence.
-> Special core: ??? ( Requires a G-spark fusion to unleash the AI's true potential )
——
Everyone saw the information on the card, surprised.
"Neo-class? I guess that's some sort of standard for AIs out there," Leo muttered.
"What is G-spark?" Lia curiously asked.
The card briefly shined at her question before it vanished, replaced by a core on Alice's hand.
Terrana's core. It blinked a few times before Terrana's projection appeared from it as she smiled and stated.
"G-Spark is a rumored material. Its full name is Genesis Spark. There's information about it in Milky Way Alliance's database, but I don't have it. As far as I know, this material is only a rumor."
"We'll add that to our list," Rei said with a grin before clapping. "For now, let's go and try to find our Catalyst's ingredients since we have taken Terrana from the ship."
"Yes!"
Everyone was eager about it and went back into the market.
Most of the people here were also searching for ingredients and items they wanted.
The outlaws living here would also go into wild adventures far from Enforces to gather exotic items from various planets and sell them on the black market.
After all, they also needed money to live and function properly.
They couldn't just kill each other in a place where they were all…lording, for the sake of their ####.
Rei, Alice, Lia, and Leo made a list of their ingredients to make it easy to show them to the sellers here. Fortunately, Terrana removed the language barrier by creating the list for them.
Rei—> Six silver eyeballs, a blind maiden's blood, a piece of any white crystal.
Leo—> Black gold ore, A red bloodied cross, An defined Sword of purple ore.
Lia—> A pair of red horns, A water drop from a mercury lake gazing into a moon, A pair of eyes from any elemental golem.
Alice—> Angel's feather, Teardrops of a zealot in praying, Nephires Void Flower.
'Some of them are tricky, if not most.' Rei thought. After all, the ingredients were not specific.
"I need six silver eyeballs, and Lia needs golem's eyes. I think we can easily find them here," Rei said, remembering a shop they encountered while following Ford.
"Are you talking about that eyeball shop? Eh, that does look like a place that sells eyeballs," Leo said before murmuring, "Selling eyeballs… well, I guess that's not unusual considering the scale of this black market."
"I remember that shop too," Alice said.
"Yeah. I saw it and felt creepy," Lia nodded, having a goosebump already.
Rei shrugged.
"It might not be weird out here. After all, we just lived on a single planet while who knows how many planets, races, and creatures are out there, haha."
"Anyway, let's go to the market," Rei said after briefly shaking his head.
Even Earth had a black market that sold prohibited organs of animals and other things. He had even heard that human organs were also sold at some point.
Who knows...on the scale of the cosmos, where humans were not at the top of the food chain, some restaurants in the black market might be selling human delicacies as well.
…
Rei and others made their way back into the market. This time, they saw the shops and stalls carefully.
Soon, they arrived at the Eyeball shop called Marina's Eyeball Trove and entered.
Eyeballs!
All kinds of eyeballs, all sizes of eyeballs. Eyeballs you couldn't have imagined, eyeballs you wouldn't dare imagine.
Entering this shop immediately caused everyone to feel strange and creepy, even Rei a bit.
"Welcome," said a woman behind the table chain. She had long black hair, and her eyes were blocked by a thick black cotton-like blindfold.
She turned to Rei and the group before smiling.
"I am Malisa. What kind of eyeballs do you want? Do you want them as ingredients or for something else?"
'If her name is Malisa, then Marina should be her sister or mother, I guess.' Rei randomly wondered before smiling, "I want six silver eyeballs. They are for my catalyst."
"First Seal?" Malisa asked, her gaze locking onto Rei.
'Interesting.' Rei smiled and nodded. "Yep. For Seer."
"Seer? Interesting," Malisa nodded, a small smile forming as she added, "So, do you want six eyeballs of the same type of creature or a pair of silver eyeballs from three creatures?"
Rei rubbed his chin briefly before grinning, "Six different creatures, six different silver eyeballs. If possible, show me the eyes of the strongest creatures you have in store."
Malisa shook her head, explaining.
"Strongest is a vague term. For strongest in physical, I have Silverprime Ape's eyeballs. If you want strongest in various occult powers, I have Silver-Eyed Gravity Wolf's eyeballs, Crystalflame Seahorse's eyeballs, Silverzoom Sparrow's eyeballs, and more."
*Clak*
Just as Malisa finished speaking, a woman with pale gold eyes and a black net-like iris walked in from the backdoor.
She was slender, wore a ranger-like outfit made of some soft, flexible, but also tough exotic material, and looked tantalizing with her shoulder-length messy red hair, red lipsticks, black eyelashes, and an attractive smile.
As everyone turned to Malisa's sister, Marina grinned and said, "Add one more eyeball."
Tossing a box towards her sister, Marina continued, "I finally got this eyeball from that One-Eyed Glaze Owl."
"Sister!" Malisa immediately shouted in response, her hands trembling for a moment. "I told you not to mess with that owl."
Marina rolled her eyes as she walked to her blind sister and slapped her back. "Come on. Check your eyes and see because I am perfectly fine, haha."
Rei, Alice, Lia, and Leo didn't know whether to laugh or cry.
Both sisters looked in their late twenties. Marina looked a bit younger but temping with just the perfect amount of everything, while Malisa looked more mature…especially physically, due to her ample bust.
However, Rei knew that even though Malisa had no eyes, she could see more than other people like him, though her power was somewhat strange because she could see despite not having eyes.
As for Marina, she wasn't fazed by Lia in the slightest, not sparing her more glance than others even after entering.
"You got stronger? How?" Malisa asked in surprise after she looked at her sister for a couple of seconds.
"Finish the business first."
Marina turned to Rei and the others.
"You want six eyeballs, right? This usually appears in the ocular series's First Seals."
"Six different silver eyeballs, yes. An ingredient of Seer. I'll leave the choices to you, but choose the best for me. I trust you on that," Rei said, a carefree smile on his face.
Marina and Malisa were surprised at Rei's response. Most people choose themselves, but he left the choices to her.
"Are you sure you want me to choose?" Marina asked, doubtful.
"We are strangers but not enemies. You are more knowledgeable in this matter, and as your customer, this is just a request from me and a choice for you," Rei unhurriedly explained, keeping the same carefree smile. "So you can choose if you are fine with it."
Malisa nodded with a small smile while Marina licked her lips and chuckled before speaking, "Sure, handsome. I'll choose for you. Just give me a minute."
"Thanks, cooky," Rei responded, flashing a grin back.
Leo was used to seeing Rei like this, not thinking much. But Alice formed an involuntary pout, while Lia thought Rei was a player.
'With that personality, body, and look, it's no surprise, I guess,' thought Lia as she glanced at Rei.
Leo was also handsome but slimmer, having only 65kg weight.
While Marina went to get six silver eyeballs of her choice for Rei, Malisa smelled a business opportunity and said, "You must want other ingredients too. Give me the list if you have made one, and I'll tell you if they will be available here or not."
Leo was pleasantly surprised.
"That's great, miss Malisa. Here's the list," Leo said, quickly giving her the complete list.
Malisa read the list and started speaking.
"You can get a piece of white crystal in this market. Choose a white crystal that feels closest to your First Seal. Believe your institution."
"Blind maiden's blood. I can give you a few drops."
"For a bloodied cross, you should separately buy a cross and blood of a creature that feels closest to your first Seal. You can get both of them in the market."
"Black gold ore. There are several ores of this color here."
"Undefined sword of purple ore. Hmmm, this could mean you must mold a purple ore into a sword without any defined characteristic. So, just a random sword but the purple ore matters. You might be able to find it here."
"Pair of red horns, easy to find in the market here. There are plenty of types."
"For this water drops from mercury lake, there are many planets with various mercury lake facing moons. Again, choose from the one that feels closest to your First Seal. I advise you to get this yourself by landing on a planet with this condition."
"A pair of eyes of any elemental golem? You can get fire golem eyes, earth golem eyes, dark metal golem eyes, and magma golem eyes from this shop. Choose if you want from these four."
"Angel's feathers? I know a crew of angels here. You can get one of their feathers by paying them some credits."
"Teardrops of a zealot in praying? This is a tough one. Unfortunately, I don't know any zealot here who will cry while praying."
Malisa smiled and continued, "Lastly, Nephires Void Flower. This will cost you a bit, but you can find it in the market here."
"All in all, you will need roughly fifty to a hundred thousand credits to buy things available here, not including the eyeballs that my sister went to pick."
Leo, Lia, and Alice looked at Rei.
"Buy all things possible or leave some?" Leo asked.
They could buy these things here or find them naturally by finding their locations on various planets using Terrana AI's help. Choice rested on Rei.
"We'll buy all that's possible here."
As Rei finished answering, Marisa arrived with a meter-long box rectangle box.
"Picked the best six silvers eyeballs for Seer, in my opinion. They are in this box," Marina said, smiling as she put the box on the table in front of Rei before showing five fingers.
"This box will cost you fifty thousand four hundred credits, but I'll round up to fifty thousand."
Rei had already activated his ability to check Marina.
After all, his ability's name was 'He Who Sees Through.' It wasn't just physically powerful.
It also gave him various hunch hints to discern truth and situations.
And fortunately, Marina was not lying. She chose the best silver eyeballs for Rei, in her honest opinion formed by her years of experience.
