Spiritual Power/Qi: This is an invisible air, only visible to cultivators and can be absorbed to increase their cultivation's levels. After being stored in their soul core, it can be used for the cultivator's personal use.
Soul core: This is located in the heart of cultivators from the moment they were born and its color is according to the elements of the cultivator. It also stored the Spiritual Qi absorbed.

Only few human being didn't have soul core and these people may decided to cultivate Dark Qi instead. Plants that possess Qi are very rare while all trees possess qi and almost every beasts have beast core.
Dark Qi: This is the type of cultivation in cultivators that didn't form soul core. These people used Soul cores of many cultivators to form a single one and merged it into their body by force. Cultivators that cultivates dark Qi are detested in the society.
