The sound of the sun seeping into the room could be heard as the breeze flapped the window filling the room with the morning fresh air.
Sandra groaned from her sleep and she tried to use her hand to trace the figure that was supposed to be sleeping beside her but her hands were met with emptiness and that makes her flutter her eyes open not caring about the burning brightness.
Sandra looked around the room looking for that figure whose embrace enveloped warmth but she was met with a small piece of paper instead of that face and she frowned, she picked up the paper and read the message on it.
"Good morning sunshine, I am sorry to leave but something came up at the office that needed my attention, I make chicken soup you can warm it before eating if it's cold," the message read but Sandra was all smiles before that.
"Sunshine??" she says her face already painted red and she skipped happily like a teenager that just got a letter from her crush.
