Neel was encased in a large transparent orange ball that protected her from the giant feet that descended on her and left the ground in utter wreckage. The ball was sturdy and endured the effect of the beast's attack without even a crack on it.
The little girl clutched her chest and heaved a sigh of relief. She was saved but she did not realise that no one saved her except herself.
The orange ball started to crumble and created space for Neel to walk out from it. She raised her head and looked forward, only to meet the gaze of Lymie and Hublet, who were staring at her.
Neel was stunned and fell back to the ground, almost screaming from the shock that reached her bones. She knew she was made, they had seen her and neither of the two of them were fools.
There was no way she could escape it this time.
"Neel?" Lymie called out.
"What was that?" Hublet wondered, even more, interested in the orange ball that shielded the girl.
