Lymie had been trekking alone for a while in search of the same thing that every other sorcerer sought in the damned forest.
"How do they expect us to find the Great Gold Eagle?" he wondered and rubbed his chin. "Without even a map of this place."
Lymie gave a deep exhale. "We were already set up for failure since the beginning."
He learned sooner than later that the odds of the festival had never been in their favour. Lymie continued to walk in front.
"I need to find shelter before dark."
He was getting exhausted from walking for so long and the night was drawing near. Lymie made up his mind to find a place to rest his head first and then continue the search for the gold and black feathers the next day when he is rejuvenated.
He found the perfect spot, under a tall slender tree with leaves large enough to cover Lymie three times over. It was better than what he expected to find anywhere in the forest.
