Lucy remained silent until the city came into view, her eyes fixated on the scenery while her expression remained sour. Eventually, they landed on top of a skyscraper that happened to be Jason's company. Lucy followed behind him as they disembarked, but he paused to look at her.
"What do you need, sir?" Lucy said bitterly to him. Jason personally took her hands and pulled her closer, their bodies touching. He stared deeply into her eyes, unaware of the vulnerability he was causing.
"Walk beside me, not behind me," Jason simply ordered, releasing her hands. Lucy felt her heart race at his words. It meant he didn't want her to appear as a servant while walking with him.
